Dogs and sleeping

Have you ever shared a bed with your 90 pound dog? If you have you understand when they "chase rabbits" ALL NIGHT LONG. Jackson, (my dog...Lab mix.. he is brownish... and so sweet!) sleeps in my bed and last night I woke up on several occasions where he was sleeping in more space than I was. Does this seem strange to anyone else?
