My Stylish New Knee

I saw the orthopedic doctor today. He drained some yucky fluid off of my knee and gave me a cortisone shot. Hopefully, this will take care of the pain. Most of it is gone already! YEAH! I get to wear this very comfortable and highly fashionable knee brace for a while. Don't you wish you had one?

The doctor thinks that I have some cartledge damage and if it is not better in 2 weeks I will have a MRI and explore more treatment options. Until then I get to have a follow-up echo cardigram and an ultra sound. The heart test is being done just to check on the left ventricle of my heart because of a chemotherapy drug I had called, Adramycin. My ultrasound is for a cyst, to rule out anything else. I feel like I am falling apart, but in the long run none of these things are extremely serious!

Today I am thankful for good medical insurance and good health care!
By the way, the knee brace is hot, uncomfortable, and completely tacky!

Don't admit the hot and uncomfortable part. Your knee is the stylish new "in" look that's chic and de-gorgeous! You can do for the knee image what Michael Jackson did for the sequined glove.

Good luck with your tests. Hope everything turns out just right. And think about adding a stud or two to the knee brace. It could get your fashion look off to a great start!
