Sick Again...

Well, it seems that just when I was getting over my current flare up of asthma, I have come down with a head cold. You know the drill you have seen the commercial... "Stuffy head, sore throat, couching, aching, fever." This is not why I am writting...

I have had a busy week, and it has been a good week. I have been working about 10-11 hour days. I now work the opening shift at work, which means I am up at 5:30ish AM! After I work there for 7 hours, I come home long enough to change clothes, love on Jackson, and have a quick snack before I head out to my next adventure. I am helping out a family with 3 children and a grandmother who had a stroke in March. It makes for a long day, but it has been a fun adventure. I have had fun everyday and everyday is a new day with its own challenges and lessons. I am even getting to practice and learn more Spanish, the grandparents speak Spanish, so I am forced to pick up a little!

By the time I help with the kids and visit with Amalia, I am very tired and ready to come home and head to bed. I have a new bed time, I must be ASLEEP by 9:45, which so far has not been a problem. I haven't had much time to spend with my friends or hang out like I want to, it has been an adjustment. God is using that time in other ways though, my time with Amalia and her family is molding and shaping me in ways that I never thought possible. I am being blessed by them with each visit. Honestly, as I sit hear very close to my EARLY bedtime, completely exhausted, I can say that I wouldn't trade me time with these people for more sleep. I had planned to be the one doing the ministering, but again I find myself being ministered to. Isn't God good?
