I have realized today that my blogging has taken a long "vacation." I used to love writing, journaling, and posting most of it in my blog. I know why now.

Since David died, my life has been crazy and out of controllable. I have been sad and feeling bit of control of how I react and respond to life. It has been hard enough to have to deal with this during the day that the last thing I have wanted to do is write about it and post if for the world to read But I am reminder to night that the healthy thing to do with grief, sadness, and other emotions, is to deal with them face on. I am ready, it is time.

The first thing I am going to do is schedule an appointment with a lady in the St Louis Area who has done tons of research on sibling loss and had started a web site for surviving siblings. After sending her a quick email to thank her for the good info on her web site, she invited me to come and share my experiences with her. Even though this is far beyond my small comfort zone, I am looking forward to this time.
