A New Pet?

I think I am now officially the owner of a cat, ewww. Animal control has placed the cat trap on hold due to someone's day off. He is the only one who can "authorize a cat trap" during the winter. I have a question- What is the difference in the kitten being in my garage NOT in a trap and the kitten being in my garage IN a trap. Oh well, I am calling first thing in the morning. Hopefully the kitten will have a new home soon.
