On Monday I was sitting at my computer when I started having this funny feeling in my chest. It didn't hurt, just felt like a fluttering in my chest. My mom was in the kitchen so I called her to the other room and told her what was going on. Mom is a nurse so she knew to check my pulse and it turns out that my heart rate was all over the place. I took a shower got dressed and we headed to the urgent care center .
My heart is having a disorder caused by the atria (the top 2 chambers of the heart) firing at the wrong time. Dr said that this was a common disorder that is caused by lots of things. Because I have plenty of other health concerns, Hodgkins, asthma, a central IV line still in my chest, ect. They are not sure what causes it. Most of the time it is caused by stress, imagine that... Me stressed. I have had it everyday since then, its not as noticeable in my chest but when I check my pulse I can still feel it.
I am waiting for my health insurance to be activated so that I can see a cardiologist and get a full cardiac check up. Hopefully that will be in the next few days!
