Fire!

My car battery was dead until today and the story of bringing it back to life is great!

First let me state that I have jump-started MANY cars. Its a cool thing that Adam S taught me at the Boys and Girls Club. So I tried to start the car last night with my mom's van, here is the problemo. Her battery is some new fangled battery with only a positive terminal, what ever that is about. So I couldn't get that working. Fast forward to 2pm-ish Today.

Heather pulls her car into the garage parallel to mine and we hook up all the clips and try to start my car. Well, we tried a few times and NADA. I looked up in a few minutes to see smoke pouring out of my car. Lots of screaming and running around followed. Heather and I finally figured out how to get, my car in neutral with out starting it. (For all of you car illiterate people out there, try turning the key over and then the car goes right into gear! How nice!) So we push the smoking car out of the garage and continue to laugh for at least an hour.

Finally, we get a hold of someone with some answers!

It was funny! The good news is that my car and all of us ended the day in one piece.
