I am back from our annual Ladies' Retreat. It is always a long weekend, with little sleep and lots of emotional/spiritual thinking and processing. I am very tired still, I went to bed at 730 on Saturday night! How cool is that?
One thing that I know about this weekend is that I don't think I got much out of material that we looked at as a large group or even when we broke into smaller groups. I had a hard time listening with all my attention to the speakers and following their notes. The most important thing for me this weekend was mending and healing broken relationships. It was emotionally draining, but I know it was needed and God will be glorified in the end. I hope to be able to share more about what God is doing in my life when I have had more time to process and think about it!
